 | Pastor, Lane Spigener
Rev. Spigener was born in Mississippi but the low country of South Carolina has always been his heart's home. A 1974 graduate of Annandale High School, Lane went to finish his Bachelor's degree at the University of South Carolina. He completed his masters of Divinity degree at Eastern Mennonite Seminary and was ordained Elder in full connection in the Virginia Conference in 2001. He is married to the former Martha L. New of New Mexico and they have one child Hattiebelle Janine. Lane came to Boonsboro in June 2004, and has worked with real diligence toward fulfilling the church's mission. In addition to working with the youth in local projects, Lane takes the youth on week long missionary trips each summer to accomplish building and repair projects to aid the areas visited, and to teach teamwork, and enjoy Christian fellowship. Lane also sponsors Boy Scout Troop # 2250 which consist of special need scouts. Lane has a visitation program which emphasizes sharing Holy Communion with those unable to attend services and visiting those in nursing homes. His Hobbies are coaching baseball and taking part in many outdoor sports. |
 | Choir Director, James Schaar
James Schaar-Came to Boonsboro as Choir Director in November 2005, and brought a freshness to our music program. James and his wife Betty live in Amherst and have four adult children. James' interest and abilities in music range from Gospel, to Bluegrass and Country. He participates in musical events in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia, playing piano, mandolin, and guitar as well as solo and group singing. James is also employed with the school system in Amherst, Virginia. |
 | Lay Leader, Todd Morris
Todd Morris is our Lay Leader, he and his wife Becky have three sons, Jeffery who is in high school and works part time, Joey, who is also in high school and aspires to become a minister, and Josh who is in high school. All three participate in various sports. Todd and Becky own and operate a local construction company. The entire family take a very active part in church related activities and Becky serves in Family Ministries, UMW and other supporting programs. |
 | Church Custodian, Sharon Hall
Sharon Hall is the Church Custodian, she is married to Barry Hall and they have two daughter, Jamie, who is in nursing training and taking courses at CVCC,and Rachel who is in middle school. Barry is our Finance Chairperson and co-chairs the Board of Trustees. Sharon is Education Director and takes part in UMW, co-chair of the Prayer Tree, a telephone prayer ministry, and supports many other church programs. She also works full time in a local firm. |
