On Sunday evening October 14, 2007, the Boonsboro United Methodist Church had its first Lighthouse Service beginning at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the service was to have an evening service for those who could not attend the morning worship. The focus was on lay Speakers and missions. We were soon helping to support a Special Needs Scout Troop, Family Ministries, Crisis Funds, and our main focus currently is a mission and clinic in Honduras. We invite you to join us on Sunday evenings for the best half hour of the week.

Our Mission is quite simple, Lighting up the corner of Boonsboro and Coffee Roads for our Lord Jesus Christ. We do that by having the doors open to all, applying our Lay Speakers to present scripture, making efforts through our local, national and world missions for a better outreach to all the world, and to agree on, and enact special programs. Our Vision is also simple: "Keep the focus on Jesus Christ."
